2002 Citroen Synergie will not start

2002 Citroen Synergie will not start Fuel and power checked ok,but it will not start. Since the fuel and power are ok (as suggested), then the problem is with the immobilizer. Try to reset the Immobilizer:---- Remove battery cable for two minutes, to try and reset any sporadic errors. PLEASE NOTE: After you disconnect and reconnect battery will need the radio code, if radio is fitted with anti theft)

Try and start vehicle using spare key (as the master key might be faulty). If that does not work, you will have to reprogram the key you have, get a new one, or reprogram the immobilizer system, and erase the error memory. All these require a Citroen scan tool (LEXIA). Its available at dealership or at Auto parts stores.

HOW TO KNOW IF ITS ISSUE WITH IMMOBILIZER? The immobilizer light on dash should stay on or flash (on and off, and on ....) if the immobilizer system in vehicle is faulty. These details will help.
